Homemade Iced Animal Cookie Ice Cream

New toy - ice cream maker and the first thing i made was iced animal cookie ice cream. Yummmmmmy! All it takes is whole milk, sugar, heavy cream and crushed iced animal cookies and twenty minutes. Woo hooo, i'm gonna like this thing. Next i'm making kulfi.

What type of icecream maker do you reccommend? I have always wanted to make my own, but with so many out there not sure which to buy.

I don't know really. We have Cuisinart and it seems to work pretty well and it's real easy to use.

it looks like it makes the ice cream perfect. Nice and smooth and creamy in your pics. Its probably better than store bough eh? That pistacio you just posted looks to die for!!!

Yeah, it's perfect. I don't care for ice cream...it's always so hard but i really liked both of these. You can make the amount you want and decide how soft or hard you want it. I love it the texture you see! It's a very easy maker to use. They are onsale at the Williams Sonoma outlet and you get a second free freezing container too. :-)
