Chai Spiced Cupcakes

Um Mahtab made these and blogged them and now i did too.

Recipe can be found here. *** By the way, i didn't make this frosting. I used a fluffy white frosting and sprinkled it with the nutmeg and cinammon. Also, i used regular sugar and regular tea but i used real vanilla instead of extract.

You know what. I'll do that. I sort of estimated in grams but i'll convert it over when i make them for the baby playgroup this week. It'll be easier for me in the future too!

Also, if you have a kitchen scale (that's what i use)...it's easy to weigh. I bought mine for $5 and it's priceless to me since most pak recipes are also metric. :-)

i would love to join your playgroup! maybe next time i am in GA, i'll come visit and you can feed me and zp cupcakes. :)

for better or worse, i picked up my mom's habit of pakistani cooking where you don't really measure anything and eyeball a lot of stuff. plus, i have a difficult enough time finding my measuring spoons in the kitchen - not sure where i'd put a scale!

Yes! You must come! That would be so much fun!

I cook that way too sis... It's the best way (well except in baking where measurements are key!)
